Doffes Damer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inge Braa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inge Braa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evander Zabel having to make a save. 18 minutes into the match, Ciudad Tao FC's goalkeeper Evander Zabel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inge Braa. In the 24th minute, Doffes Damer's Inge Braa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Joakim Vennerlund kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Evander Zabel made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Inge Braa sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute of the match Doffes Damer got a corner. Ciudad Tao FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pier Kopacz ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Jairo Malheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Greid Tinsmith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Malheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Doffes Damer's Inge Braa in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ciudad Tao FC's goalie prevented a goal. Marcelo Osório's late challenge caught a Doffes Damer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Osório helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Doffes Damer booed when Ciudad Tao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Osório didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evander Zabel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inge Braa in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Inge Braa to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Ciudad Tao FC's Greid Tinsmith threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ernst Skog, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ciudad Tao FC's Osmar Goiano was substituted for Joel Sandström. Ciudad Tao FC's Miron Zabel was substituted for Jairo Malheiro. Doffes Damer's Andréas Stigsson was substituted for Greg Barrera. The throw-in from Carl Nordlander in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ciudad Tao FC's Osmar Goiano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Cristi in the 66th minute of play forced Ciudad Tao FC's goalkeeper Evander Zabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miron Zabel succeeded in the game's 67th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Doffes Damer's Erland Markusson was substituted for Pier Kopacz. 74 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goal looked a bit too open when Miron Zabel came free, but Greid Tinsmith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Greid Tinsmith made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Osmar Goiano sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, Salomon Quaade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Greid Tinsmith. Doffes Damer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salomon Quaade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Greid Tinsmith took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Vennerlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes in the game Birol Dalayer did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Miron Zabel. In the 86th minute Salomon Quaade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greid Tinsmith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doffes Damer's Greid Tinsmith proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Doffes Damer from getting a goal against them. Evander Zabel came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Doffes Damer's Ronaldo Cristi. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Cristi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. With a little luck, Doffes Damer's Greid Tinsmith got control of the ball when Osmar Goiano tried to sneak it across the goal line.
