Mauro Sarmento took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Belasko. Enrique Belasko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Telmo da Fonseca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enrique Belasko. Galáctico Azul FC™'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Enrique Belasko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Alagoano in the 9th minute of play. Castanheiro SC's Doni Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Celino in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Galáctico Azul FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Pinho came free, but Enrique Belasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Belasko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Alagoano in the 17th minute of the match. Ronaldo Pinho hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Ulisses Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Galáctico Azul FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Sarmento came free, but Enrique Belasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casimiro Ellande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Doni Seco made a huge save. After some careless play in the Galáctico Azul FC™ defense, Basílio Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Belasko. The Galáctico Azul FC™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Belasko should have stopped the shot. Castanheiro SC's Arnaldo Lago was substituted for Basílio Toledo. In the 39th minute, Flavio Vincente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geovani Madureira hit a great ball. Honorio Lano kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes, Castanheiro SC's Marco Bezerra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Enrique Belasko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Castanheiro SC reached it. Gonzalo Rico kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erasmo Celino made a kick off. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Geovani Madureira hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior Alagoano in the 56th minute of play forced Galáctico Azul FC™'s goalkeeper Enrique Belasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doni Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Vincente in the 59th minute of the match. Galáctico Azul FC™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Flavio Vincente in the 60th minute. Flavio Vincente made a great header on Galáctico Azul FC™'s corner, it was just that Castanheiro SC's Doni Seco managed to reach the ball for a save. 61 minutes into the match, Galáctico Azul FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Alagoano came free, but Enrique Belasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Castanheiro SC booed when Galáctico Azul FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Rico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Rico hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 74 played minutes Galáctico Azul FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Musko. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erasmo Celino in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doni Seco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, Mauro Sarmento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castanheiro SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Ronaldo Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 87 minutes of play, Castanheiro SC's Júnior Alagoano made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Belasko was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Castanheiro SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
