The referee ignored The Shadows's protests and gave Kjell Danielsson a yellow card for diving instead. Kjell Danielsson kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Hampus Anselius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Shadows fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 16th minute Elder Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Augusto Novaes struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Viktor Nordström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ITAFUT 4EVER. Hubert Björkkvist's late challenge caught a ITAFUT 4EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hubert Björkkvist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Cléber Palmeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Shadows's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ITAFUT 4EVER the free kick. After 37 played minutes The Shadows got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Blom. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arvid Billock during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arvid Billock hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute of the match, José Augusto Novaes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Viktor Nordström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Viana in the 45th minute of play forced The Shadows's goalkeeper Viktor Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, José Augusto Novaes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of The Shadows's Viktor Nordström. Viktor Nordström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elliott Klemensson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, José Augusto Novaes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viktor Nordström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After some careless play in the The Shadows defense, Orlando Mineiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viktor Nordström. The The Shadows fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viktor Nordström should have stopped the shot. The Shadows made a substitution. Axel Vesterberg replaced Fred Arenius. After a rather tough play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Breno Freitas got a free kick in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elliott Klemensson in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jardel Fernandez saved ITAFUT 4EVER from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elder Rosado during the 66th minute. Hampus Eriksson made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ITAFUT 4EVER's Wesley Pinheiro. After 90 minutes, Orlando Mineiro made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. The Shadows's Viktor Nordström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Viktor Nordström came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by ITAFUT 4EVER's José Augusto Novaes. But to his dismay, José Augusto Novaes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2.
