KIA KAHA's Thomas Corredor was substituted for Marcelino Calzada. 67 minutes into the match, KIA KAHA's goalkeeper Fabio Santilli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualter Gulak. Nino Maldini did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Fabio Santilli 89 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Nicolás Castillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Santilli was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Sem Titulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Glanselius in the 95th minute of the match. Kaká MacAlister hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.

The Jataiense Futebol Clube supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jataiense Futebol Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
