Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Amir Lee started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dario Wilhelm came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting de Gijón's Diego Maradona. But to his dismay, Diego Maradona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Bilintx came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Maradona in the 14th minute of play. Matias Bilintx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Wilhelm having to interfere. Waldo Renteria struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Óscar Cordoba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cascade Park West. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejandro Rufo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dario Wilhelm saved Cascade Park West from getting behind. Dario Wilhelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Loiola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cascade Park West's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dexter Benton in the 30th minute. A nice corner shot did that Dexter Benton got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Óscar Cordoba quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Bilintx in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Bilintx in the 34th minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldo Renteria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Óscar Cordoba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Waldo Renteria came free, but Óscar Cordoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Curcio in the 43rd minute of play. The Sporting de Gijón fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Sporting de Gijón's Matias Bilintx looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Bilintx made a kick off. Diego Maradona received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dario Wilhelm came out and tried to block the shot, but Diego Maradona slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 59th minute. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Cascade Park West from getting a goal against them. A throw-in in the 71st minute of the game was made by Jamar Orlinsky with Waldo Renteria as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 73rd minute, Sporting de Gijón's Matias Bilintx dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amir Lee in the 76th minute of play. Sporting de Gijón's Atilano Feo was substituted for Carlo Crema. Sporting de Gijón's Gabriel Diaz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cascade Park West. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Maradona in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Maradona in the 95th minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sporting de Gijón played a much better game than Cascade Park West and deserved their victory. The Cascade Park West players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
