Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taaniel Hill, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Santiago Nataniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Prosperi in the 9th minute of the match. Elpidio Francis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Branislav Velchevski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xurde Campoamor in the 12th minute. If Xurde Campoamor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA from getting a goal against them. Branislav Velchevski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xurde Campoamor in the 17th minute. Santiago Nataniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Prosperi in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Brown Puerto Madryn's Gerd Treial ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Branislav Velchevski. Branislav Velchevski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 34th minute, Taaniel Hill reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Branislav Velchevski. The goal made the score 2-0. Xurde Campoamor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Branislav Velchevski having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Venancio Havier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Santiago Nataniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elpidio Francis in the 53rd minute. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Rafael Dalmu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dorin Horia, made in the 54th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taaniel Hill in the 60th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taaniel Hill in the 61st minute of play. With a little luck, Brown Puerto Madryn's Santiago Nataniel got control of the ball when Elpidio Francis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Nataniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Santiago Nataniel. Santiago Nataniel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Brown Puerto Madryn made a substitution. Rodrigo De Paul replaced Xurde Campoamor. 86 minutes into the match, Brown Puerto Madryn's goalkeeper Santiago Nataniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Monclús. André Monclús had several of the Brown Puerto Madryn's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Santiago Nataniel as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Brown Puerto Madryn's zone, André Monclús stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Nataniel came out of the goal and André Monclús tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as André Monclús kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Santiago Nataniel. That made the score 2-3 in the 94 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
