Patrick Armstrong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Cordeiro took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrick Armstrong. Rodolfo Cordeiro took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrick Armstrong. Patrick Armstrong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Beltxe in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Santa Maradona booed when ManagerZone Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Spante didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Thorbjörn Olerius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Santa Maradona's Miguel Transito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick Armstrong made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The ManagerZone Crew players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Santa Maradona were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Cordeiro made a kick off. If Miguel Transito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 51 minutes of play ManagerZone Crew's Andreas Spante was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 52nd minute, Andreas Spante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After taking down the ball on Santa Maradona's corner Haroldo Martxot fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Patrick Armstrong quite easily take care of the ball.
