When Vestfjorden FK's Ousmane Diallo in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Active FC's goalie prevented a goal. A nice corner shot did that Birk Johannessen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Herminio Elia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Herminio Elia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thor Hesjedal in the 9th minute of play. After 11 minutes Active FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Birk Johannessen who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Birk Johannessen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Active FC's Herminio Elia did a great save. 12 minutes into the game, Vestfjorden FK's Ousmane Diallo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herminio Elia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Amílton de Queirós hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to Active FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Julian Gambo hit a great ball. Thor Hesjedal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herminio Elia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ousmane Diallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Vestfjorden FK got a corner. Active FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Birk Johannessen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Thor Hesjedal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Active FC's Herminio Elia did a great save. Herminio Elia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thor Hesjedal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herminio Elia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Hesjedal, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute Jørgen Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Elia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Víctor Galarreta to make the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herminio Elia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Herminio Elia made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Thor Hesjedal sent off a good shot on target. Ousmane Diallo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Herminio Elia 65 minutes into the match. Thor Hesjedal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Herminio Elia made a huge save. Herminio Elia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ousmane Diallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Marco Ureña hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Thor Hesjedal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Active FC booed when Vestfjorden FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Salamonsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 played minutes Active FC got a freekick which was hit by Benedykt Czerwinski. In the 95th minute, Ousmane Diallo made a precise shot to the right of Herminio Elia. Active FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3.

Vestfjorden FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
