After 9 minutes, Fabrizio Vitale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dorgagnano AF and the Kiricocho S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Fabrizio Vitale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fedele Zara was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Leon Peruxu. Fedele Zara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Peruxu in the 11th minute of play. Fedele Zara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Harris in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, GenÃlson Peixoto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fedele Zara. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Presutti in the 21st minute of play forced Kiricocho S.C.'s goalkeeper Feliks Kaider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Dorgagnano AF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Bernardo Iezzi hit a great ball. Andrew Harris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Kiricocho S.C.'s Leon Peruxu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fedele Zara. Fedele Zara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The long shot by Leon Peruxu in the 28th minute really tested Fedele Zara's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 31 played minutes Kiricocho S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Andrew Harris. Abelardo Pio kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Kiricocho S.C.'s Leon Peruxu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fedele Zara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damiano Coccia in the 41st minute of play forced Kiricocho S.C.'s goalkeeper Feliks Kaider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Kiricocho S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Troiani came free, but Feliks Kaider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Leon Peruxu took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Fedele Zara to make any attempt to save it.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damiano Coccia made a kick off. Fedele Zara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bastiaan Hoeksma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Kiricocho S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Presutti came free, but Feliks Kaider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrizio Vitale hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Bastiaan Hoeksma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fedele Zara having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Troiani in the 72nd minute of play forced Kiricocho S.C.'s goalkeeper Feliks Kaider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Eugenio Troiani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliks Kaider was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. When Beppe Ronconi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Dorgagnano AF's Beppe Ronconi got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 85 minutes of play Dorgagnano AF's Fabrizio Vitale was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 86 played minutes Dorgagnano AF got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Vitale. Fedele Zara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bastiaan Hoeksma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute of the match Kiricocho S.C. got a corner. Dorgagnano AF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leon Peruxu ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Kiricocho S.C.'s corner Leon Peruxu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fedele Zara quite easily take care of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Dorgagnano AF's goal looked a bit too open when Bastiaan Hoeksma came free, but Fedele Zara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
Many of Dorgagnano AF's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Dorgagnano AF may have spent more time on the ball, but Kiricocho S.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
