After 2 played minutes Zagórna got a freekick which was hit by Uluç Tekinalp. 5 minutes into the match, Zagórna's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Arraz came free, but Marian Gniech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zagórna's Marian Gniech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Arraz in the 9th minute of play. Vanja Džaferović was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Bemowo's players had a chance to rest. After some careless play in the FC Bemowo defense, Ertan Duman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dariusz Bielejewski. The FC Bemowo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dariusz Bielejewski should have stopped the shot. If Tomás Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Slawomir Przybyciel got free with Marian Gniech in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ertan Duman made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Bemowo's Vanja Džaferović.
The FC Bemowo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Bemowo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
