Martin Gabon was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Velichko Dúrov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Velichko Dúrov really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 8th minute, Charly Alberti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Gabon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cai Jun Yu got free with Martin Gabon in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martin Gabon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charly Alberti in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's Velichko Dúrov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Gabon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Martin Gabon came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's Dallas Dalglish. But to his dismay, Dallas Dalglish quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The supporters of KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946 booed when Medellín AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Ederono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Velichko Dúrov did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 6-0 to the left of a surprised Martin Gabon 31 minutes into the match. Martin Gabon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dallas Dalglish in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's James Butler got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute Dallas Dalglish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Gabon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Medellín AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Eugenio Ederono hit a great ball. Cacey Walker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Martin Gabon made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elpidio Henry was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Charly Alberti sped through Medellín AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martin Gabon. After some careless play in the Medellín AFC defense, Velichko Dúrov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Gabon. The Medellín AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Gabon should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the game, Velichko Dúrov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Martin Gabon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Martin Gabon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. Martin Gabon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charly Alberti in the 87th minute of play. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 14-0 when Dallas Dalglish sped through Medellín AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martin Gabon. Charly Alberti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Martin Gabon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's Dallas Dalglish nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Gabon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 15-0. KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
