Wellington de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Campelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Nascente do Leça's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Segio came free, but Frederico Vilalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Severiano Campelo was slow to take the kick. During this time Nascente do Leça's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Severiano Campelo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wellington de Almeida quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 76 minutes into the match, Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper Wellington de Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severiano Campelo. In the 77th minute, Nascente do Leça's Severiano Campelo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Mayhem Sharks's Wellington de Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Mayhem Sharks from getting a goal against them. Bogdan Gierasik charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bogdan Gierasik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mayhem Sharks booed when Nascente do Leça was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Gierasik didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Paulo José Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mayhem Sharks's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo José Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederico Vilalobos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Narciso Dias notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Nascente do Leça's Frederico Vilalobos. Frederico Vilalobos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 93 minutes into the match, Osvaldo da Mata had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frederico Vilalobos. Nascente do Leça's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldo da Mata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. Bento Madeira kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes, Mayhem Sharks's Paulo José Garcia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frederico Vilalobos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mayhem Sharks reached it.
