Narciso Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Vítor Mandrak made a huge save. In the 11thth minute of the game Luís Gustavo Custódio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mayhem Sharks's Wellington de Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute Narciso Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute Narciso Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Excelência de Luxe's Vítor Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Dias in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Excelência de Luxe getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Luís Gustavo Custódio hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Excelência de Luxe's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Dias came free, but Vítor Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Mayhem Sharks made a substitution. Rodolfo Hunfredo replaced Luís Fabiano de Andrade. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Gustavo Custódio made a kick off. Luís Gustavo Custódio in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wellington de Almeida, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 54th minute, Narciso Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 55 played minutes, Excelência de Luxe's Bernardo Fonseca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wellington de Almeida came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Narciso Dias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vítor Mandrak was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Durvalino Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mayhem Sharks's supporters rose to their feet, but Durvalino Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Mandrak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Excelência de Luxe's zone, Durvalino Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Mandrak came out of the goal and Durvalino Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mayhem Sharks's Durvalino Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vítor Mandrak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narciso Dias's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Gustavo Custódio in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wellington de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Mayhem Sharks's Wellington de Almeida got control of the ball when Luís Gustavo Custódio tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Excelência de Luxe players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mayhem Sharks.
