ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xuaco Oñaederra in the 23rd minute of play. Patrick Armstrong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xuaco Oñaederra in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by ManagerZone Crew's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The referee ignored ManagerZone Crew's protests and gave Adrian Våleman a yellow card for diving instead. When Xuaco Oñaederra came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Moneyball fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xuaco Oñaederra couldn't finish the play. After the first half Moneyball were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
