The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andreas Oorthuis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói de Medeiros having to interfere. After 9 minutes of play, Decathlon Dudes's Andreas Oorthuis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elói de Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcel Jeuring scored 0-3 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elói de Medeiros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Oorthuis came free, but Elói de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Decathlon Dudes getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Otto Olfers hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Anísio Galvão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andreas Oorthuis might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elói de Medeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andreas Oorthuis ran back to his position shaking his head. After 27 minutes, Maicon Loyola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrenta SC and the Decathlon Dudes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barrenta SC's Maicon Loyola got a free kick in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Decathlon Dudes's Andreas Oorthuis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elói de Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andreas Oorthuis in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elói de Medeiros saved Barrenta SC from getting behind. In the 35th match minute, Barrenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Andreas Oorthuis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elói de Medeiros. Barrenta SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andreas Oorthuis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Elói de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Oorthuis in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Oorthuis came free, but Elói de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Andreas Oorthuis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Andreas Oorthuis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elói de Medeiros was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Guus Terpstra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Anísio Galvão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Decathlon Dudes booed when Barrenta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Marcel Jeuring had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elói de Medeiros. Barrenta SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcel Jeuring was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Elói de Medeiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcel Jeuring went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. With his leg Elói de Medeiros managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Decathlon Dudes's Marcel Jeuring fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Elói de Medeiros came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Decathlon Dudes's Marcel Jeuring. But to his dismay, Marcel Jeuring quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Andreas Oorthuis had several of the Barrenta SC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-10 score and a disappointed Elói de Medeiros as he didn't even see the shot coming. Otto Olfers hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Oorthuis in the 85th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Elói de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elói de Medeiros didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 0-11. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Oorthuis in the 95th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Elói de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Oorthuis in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elói de Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Decathlon Dudes played a much better game than Barrenta SC and deserved their victory. The Barrenta SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
