The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Sidnei Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Sotero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 2nd minute, Sidnei Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Eustacio Sotero. Eintracht Cernavoda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jardel Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Pantiș, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Dinamo Colorado's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sidnei Azevedo in the 10th minute. A nice corner shot did that Sidnei Azevedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eustacio Sotero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The attack was good, but when Gilberto de Lima in the 11th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Filip Pantiș sped through Dinamo Colorado's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jardel Carvalho. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Pantiș in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jardel Carvalho saved Dinamo Colorado from getting behind. Jardel Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Pantiș's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Eintracht Cernavoda were awarded a corner. Nechifor Ibrișin went to the cornerflag to take it. Gilberto de Lima hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Eustacio Sotero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto de Lima in the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Pantiș came free, but Jardel Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dinamo Colorado's Rui Coutinho got a free kick in the 29th minute. Nechifor Ibrișin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Dinamo Colorado's Jardel Carvalho got control of the ball when Mikael Isak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eustacio Sotero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinamo Colorado's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sidnei Azevedo in the 35th minute. The corner led Dinamo Colorado's Sidnei Azevedo to fire away a dangerous shot which Eustacio Sotero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Azevedo in the 37th minute of play forced Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Eustacio Sotero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes Dinamo Colorado got a freekick which was hit by Rivaldo Dez.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sidnei Azevedo made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's Sidnei Azevedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eustacio Sotero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nechifor Ibrișin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Eintracht Cernavoda's zone, Leandro Damião stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustacio Sotero came out of the goal and Leandro Damião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eintracht Cernavoda's Eustacio Sotero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Eintracht Cernavoda from getting a goal against them. Leandro Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Eustacio Sotero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dinamo Colorado players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Eintracht Cernavoda.
