A collision led to Eintracht Cernavoda getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Doru Baicu hit a great ball. In the 13th minute Filip Pantiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Roeles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Jan de Vlieger got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Costin Teodoreanu hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan de Vlieger in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustacio Sotero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jan de Vlieger came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Julias Rascals Apeldoorn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan de Vlieger couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles got control of the ball when Mikael Isak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ralph Roeles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Gologan, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Ralph Roeles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikael Isak. Ralph Roeles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filip Pantiș in the 29th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Ralph Roeles successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ralph Roeles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Pantiș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eintracht Cernavoda's Eustacio Sotero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carel Deiman in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Gologan in the 36th minute of play forced Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Ralph Roeles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavius Stanciu got free with Ralph Roeles in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan de Vlieger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ralph Roeles came out of the goal in the 50th minute to try and stop a shot by Eintracht Cernavoda's Flavius Stanciu. But to his dismay, Flavius Stanciu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 55 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's goal looked a bit too open when Niels Borker came free, but Eustacio Sotero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 played minutes Eintracht Cernavoda got a freekick which was hit by Costin Teodoreanu. Niels Borker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Eustacio Sotero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan de Vlieger. Eintracht Cernavoda's Gigel Tănăsocă was substituted for Gigel Gologan. In the 66th minute, Niels Borker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralph Roeles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Pantiș, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st match minute, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans-Cees Schattenberg to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes Julias Rascals Apeldoorn got a freekick which was hit by Niels Borker. In the 77th minute, Mikael Isak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eintracht Cernavoda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A collision led to Eintracht Cernavoda getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gigel Tănăsocă hit a great ball. Zebastian Bergfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Jan de Vlieger came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eustacio Sotero could save by the left post. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Tănăsocă in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute Gigel Tănăsocă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Roeles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eintracht Cernavoda's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nechifor Ibrișin in the 89th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Nechifor Ibrișin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eintracht Cernavoda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nechifor Ibrișin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Zebastian Bergfeldt fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
