In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Malvin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Canor came free, but Vicky Donda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ángel Romero to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albino Canor in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicky Donda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vicky Donda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio James in the 60th minute of play. Benjamin Malvin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hernan Chico in the 61st minute. 66 minutes in the game Teodosio James did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Albino Canor. 67 minutes into the match, Bruno Cambiasso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicky Donda. ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Cambiasso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
