Pastor Oriche made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Cristian Urbano sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, Formentera's goalkeeper Pastor Oriche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Rodrigues. If Luciano Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Ado to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pastor Oriche showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Pastor Oriche came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atlético Luziense's Luciano Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Luciano Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Clube Atlético Luziense made a substitution. Luís Fernando de Moraes replaced Luciano Rodrigues. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Gerson Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Atlético Luziense's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerson Furlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pastor Oriche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Gerson Furlan made a precise shot to the right of Pastor Oriche. Formentera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The audience was convinced that Gerson Furlan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pastor Oriche was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléberson Siqueira in the 86th minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Pastor Oriche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Luziense's Kléberson Siqueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pastor Oriche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pastor Oriche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléberson Siqueira in the 96th minute of the match. Clube Atlético Luziense's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
