Best Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Valiente in the 8th minute of play. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Union defense, Hartz Ochandio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafino Cisco. The Club Atletico Union fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafino Cisco should have stopped the shot. Sendoa Najera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafino Cisco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Best Wall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Kelemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, Made in Paraguay's Sendoa Najera got a free kick in the 21st minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Iratxo Acosta put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Made in Paraguay:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Atletico Union:s goal. Best Wall had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Delmiro Nastasio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 25th minute, Eduard Portolés hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Made in Paraguay's Xesus Isazi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Maximiliano Benet in the 28 minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, Made in Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Monte came free, but Best Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sendoa Najera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Segundo Monte made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 41stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Best Wall would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After 42 played minutes Made in Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Joseba Font. Made in Paraguay's Best Wall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Made in Paraguay from getting a goal against them. Best Wall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cornelio Asur went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Segundo Monte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Osvaldo Llorienzo made a precise shot to the right of Best Wall. Made in Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 57th minute Segundo Monte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Best Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club Atletico Union booed when Made in Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blanco Cotilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Valiente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Kelemen in the 67th minute of play forced Made in Paraguay's goalkeeper Best Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Best Wall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Kelemen in the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Valiente in the 72nd minute of play forced Made in Paraguay's goalkeeper Best Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Made in Paraguay made a substitution. Ramone Betancur replaced Joseba Font. 75 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Benet threw the ball into play from the sideline. Made in Paraguay's Xesus Isazi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Best Wall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Atletico Union were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
