A collision led to Pretorianos FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Matias Txaran hit a great ball. Pedro Mercurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Pretorianos FC's Marciano Idacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Otoniel in the 8th minute of play. Nicanor Demario got a throw-in 9 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Matias Txaran. When Pretorianos FC's Sabino Valverde in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ñacuñán AC's goalie prevented a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Ñacuñán AC's Cosme Lauaxeta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marciano Idacio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Benicio Otoniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ñacuñán AC's Pedro Mercurio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Ñacuñán AC from getting a goal against them. Pedro Mercurio came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Pretorianos FC's Sabino Valverde. But to his dismay, Sabino Valverde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Pedro Mercurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabino Valverde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Tostão Ceresso fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pedro Mercurio, passed just outside the right post. In the 31st minute, Sabino Valverde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Mercurio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Tostão Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Mercurio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabino Valverde in the 36th minute. Hector Fero kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. A collision led to Ñacuñán AC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Hector Fero hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Ñacuñán AC made a substitution. Luis Bartoleme replaced Jose Hernando. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sabino Valverde to make the kick off. Sabino Valverde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute of the match Tostão Ceresso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Mercurio skillfully saved the ball. In the 60th minute, Benicio Otoniel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marciano Idacio. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 68th minute Sabino Valverde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Mercurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Fero hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Pretorianos FC's Santos Lauren was substituted for Delmiro Berart. When Astor Guib came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Ñacuñán AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Guib couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Ñacuñán AC's goal looked a bit too open when Sabino Valverde came free, but Pedro Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ñacuñán AC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Colin Probert hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Sabino Valverde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Mercurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Pretorianos FC's Marciano Idacio got control of the ball when Benicio Otoniel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Ñacuñán AC's goal looked a bit too open when Sabino Valverde came free, but Pedro Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

There was no doubt that Pretorianos FC were the better team. Pretorianos FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
