In the 5thth minute of the game Dráuzio Pontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A Veces Mas Es Menos's Nove Unax was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Falconara Albanese getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Arsenio Eufrasio hit a great ball. If Zacharias Iosifakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leandro Tascon fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A Veces Mas Es Menos's protests and gave Leandro Tascon a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to A Veces Mas Es Menos getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Leandro Tascon hit a great ball. Per-Olof Kaxe kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Esteve Garin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nove Unax having to interfere. Arne Grabner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A Veces Mas Es Menos. A Veces Mas Es Menos's Nove Unax proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save A Veces Mas Es Menos from getting a goal against them. Leandro Tascon got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Godfredo Santxol. After a defensive mix-up in A Veces Mas Es Menos's zone, Dráuzio Pontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nove Unax came out of the goal and Dráuzio Pontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Falconara Albanese's Arne Grabner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacharias Iosifakis in the 35th minute of play. Dráuzio Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Nove Unax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Falconara Albanese getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Dráuzio Pontes hit a great ball. The wind increased when Dráuzio Pontes made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Vangioni during the 50th minute. Nove Unax made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

A Veces Mas Es Menos's Nove Unax proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 104th minute of the match, managed to save A Veces Mas Es Menos from getting a goal against them. If Honorio Firman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 105th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 108 in the game by Kaarlo Menem from a close distance when the talented Nove Unax managed to make a qualified save. A Veces Mas Es Menos's players were relieved. Kaarlo Menem made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 108thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Nove Unax would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When the referee signaled the end of the first half of extra-time the score was 1-1. The players had a chance to rest for a moment before the second half.

Everyone could clearly see that both Falconara Albanese's and A Veces Mas Es Menos's players was becoming tired in their legs when Falconara Albanese's Martin Goren did the kick off in the second half of the overtime. Paolo-César Maldini's late challenge caught a Falconara Albanese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paolo-César Maldini helped the player get up and apologised. After 119 played minutes A Veces Mas Es Menos got a freekick which was hit by Paolo-César Maldini. Nove Unax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Goren in the 121st minute of play. A Veces Mas Es Menos's Nove Unax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaarlo Menem in the 128th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Falconara Albanese's Eusebio Quintan got a free kick in the 130th minute. After recieving a nice pass, A Veces Mas Es Menos's Leonel Vangioni tried to score from far away in the 131st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Neither team seemed willing to take risks during extra-time and the defenses won out. The match would now go to a penalty shoot-out.

When the match had been going on for 136 minutes, A Veces Mas Es Menos's Leonel Vangioni got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Arne Grabner. The goalkeeper, Nove Unax, was totally fooled by Falconara Albanese's Arne Grabner, who 137 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
