River Super Club's Martin Cayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Txurio in the 20th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, SuperChango's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Artaldo came free, but Luiz Fernando Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Txurio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Cayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to SuperChango getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Elói Chaves hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of SuperChango:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of River Super Club:s goal. Luiz Fernando Branco had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Bruno Artaldo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ambrosio Txurio to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SuperChango booed when River Super Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viorel Bordeianu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Casimiro Ieltxu could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Martin Cayo however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of River Super Club booed when SuperChango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Puch didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Patricio Filipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Cayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Txurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viorel Bordeianu in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fernando Branco saved SuperChango from getting behind. Luiz Fernando Branco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patricio Filipo's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After 67 minutes SuperChango's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bruno Artaldo who took care of the corner kick. Luiz Fernando Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Filipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to SuperChango getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Álvaro Puch hit a great ball. Patricio Filipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Branco having to interfere. 81 minutes in the game Carlos Pirro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Viorel Bordeianu. Viorel Bordeianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the final whistle went the supporters of SuperChango were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant River Super Club side.
