Spectators: 475 (Terracing: 357, Seating: 109, VIP seats: 9) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodolfo Perfecto started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sotelo AFC's goalkeeper Robustiano Gelmiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, MARTINETA's Dionisio Navarro got a free kick in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Sotelo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Cesaro came free, but Robustiano Gelmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Cirilo Bembe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartolo Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Perfecto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartolo Beliran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wang Kuan in the 23rd minute of the match. Bartolo Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Kuan in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Sotelo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Bembe. Bartolo Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wang Kuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the MARTINETA defense, Cirilo Bembe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartolo Beliran. The MARTINETA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bartolo Beliran should have stopped the shot. The supporters of MARTINETA booed when Sotelo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wang Kuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Esteve Mosen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Bembe in the 37th minute of play forced MARTINETA's goalkeeper Bartolo Beliran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robustiano Gelmiro made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Carlos Cesaro sent off a good shot on target. Rafal Kaszubowski kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Cesaro to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Perfecto got free with Bartolo Beliran in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, MARTINETA's Bartolo Beliran got control of the ball when Rodolfo Perfecto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, Petruț Ailincai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartolo Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wang Kuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MARTINETA made a substitution. Alexander Buonanno replaced Carlos Cesaro. Sotelo AFC's Cui Liang Yue was substituted for Rodolfo Perfecto. Sotelo AFC were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after MARTINETA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cui Liang Yue took the corner. A collision led to Sotelo AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Dogo Burdeos hit a great ball. Cayetano Lalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Gelmiro having to interfere. When Cayetano Lalla came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the MARTINETA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Lalla couldn't finish the play. Robustiano Gelmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Roca, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Dogo Burdeos in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MARTINETA's Dionisio Navarro. Esteve Mosen kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.

The Sotelo AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sotelo AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
