The referee ignored CSD Pte Derqui's protests and gave Ignacio Nayely a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of La Acade booed when CSD Pte Derqui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Nayely didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Ignacio Nayely hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blas Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Leobardo in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match La Acade got a corner. CSD Pte Derqui's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teófilo Amaro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of CSD Pte Derqui's goalie and right to Shao Zhou. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. CSD Pte Derqui's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Blas Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Demesio in the 21st minute of play. Blas Aritza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Demesio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorio Sarracino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kip William in the 24th minute of play. La Acade's Blas Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Leobardo in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th minute Isaias Leobardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kip William got free with Honorio Sarracino in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rdth minute of the game Kip William who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CSD Pte Derqui's Honorio Sarracino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Kip William had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Niceto Peli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CSD Pte Derqui's Isaias Leobardo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, CSD Pte Derqui's goalkeeper Honorio Sarracino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kip William. After a rather tough play, CSD Pte Derqui's Francisco Urbasa got a free kick in the 44th minute. Honorio Sarracino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Lamczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by CSD Pte Derqui's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teófilo Amaro was slow to take the kick. During this time La Acade's players had a chance to rest. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Demesio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Kip William's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorio Sarracino was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, La Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Martxel came free, but Blas Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorio Sarracino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kip William in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kip William in the 59th minute of play forced CSD Pte Derqui's goalkeeper Honorio Sarracino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Teófilo Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. La Acade's Blas Aritza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save La Acade from getting a goal against them. Angelo Demesios short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Blas Aritza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 87 minutes into the match, CSD Pte Derqui's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Saturnin came free, but Honorio Sarracino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Acade's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teófilo Amaro in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the match, CSD Pte Derqui's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Saturnin came free, but Honorio Sarracino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Felipe Saturnin came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the La Acade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Saturnin couldn't finish the play.

La Acade's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
