The referee ignored FC Vershina ESPN's protests and gave Anatoliy Mintenko a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Fantini got free with Edvin van der Sar in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Vershina ESPN's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Cristóvão Messias scored to the left of an out of position Edvin van der Sar, making the score, 1-5. The FC Vershina ESPN fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Classe A Futebol Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
