Biagio Polo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Biagio Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Knut Danielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Knut Danielsson came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Billesholm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Knut Danielsson couldn't finish the play. Billesholm's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ali Erdem Helvacıoğlu in the 29th minute. Knut Danielsson was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The supporters of Billesholm booed when Sole e Mezzaluna Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Ferreri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Knut Danielsson took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Biagio Polo. Biagio Polo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Billesholm's Knut Danielsson got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Beppe Bosso made a kick off. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Billesholm! Biagio Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Danielsson in the 61st minute of the match. Knut Danielsson had several of the Sole e Mezzaluna Calcio's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 63 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Biagio Polo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Knut Danielsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Biagio Polo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Dennis Grassi kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Knut Danielsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Billesholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. After 79 played minutes Billesholm got a freekick which was hit by Andréas Rönn. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Carter Croce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sole e Mezzaluna Calcio's supporters rose to their feet, but Carter Croce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Orozco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 84 minutes, Tage Modig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Billesholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tage Modig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 played minutes Billesholm got a freekick which was hit by Tage Modig. After 92 minutes of play, Billesholm's Knut Danielsson made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Biagio Polo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 98th minute, Andréas Rönn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Billesholm left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sole e Mezzaluna Calcio.
