An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Valente in the 5th minute of play forced Kingpins's goalkeeper Brendan Leblanc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kingpins's Brendan Leblanc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Jakes in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Kingpins's goal looked a bit too open when Zhuang Hai Xu came free, but Brendan Leblanc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Västerstrand made a great header on Kingpins's corner, it was just that DESTROY's Silverio Gonsalve managed to reach the ball for a save. When Isidro Valente came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the DESTROY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Valente couldn't finish the play. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for DESTROY! Silverio Gonsalve had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Rickard Lundgren's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Bo Kruuse's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Silverio Gonsalve skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rickard Lundgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Silverio Gonsalve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Kingpins defense, Zhuang Hai Xu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brendan Leblanc. The Kingpins fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brendan Leblanc should have stopped the shot. Bo Kruuse took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Gonsalve. Silverio Gonsalve dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Kingpins's Brendan Leblanc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Valente in the 36th minute of play. Kingpins's Karl Trulsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Placido Orlandus, made in the 38th minute of the game. DESTROY's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Romero Cristian in the 41st minute. After 46 played minutes DESTROY got a freekick which was hit by Guido Šuler. 47 minutes into the match, DESTROY's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Lundgren came free, but Silverio Gonsalve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rickard Lundgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Kingpins's goal looked a bit too open when Zhuang Hai Xu came free, but Brendan Leblanc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Jakes got free with Brendan Leblanc in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bo Kruuse in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silverio Gonsalve prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to DESTROY getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Miguel Arotza hit a great ball. Silverio Gonsalve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Kruuse in the 59th minute of play. Silverio Gonsalve didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rickard Lundgren went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. DESTROY's Brennan Johnson was substituted for Saturnino Favila. DESTROY's Herminio Valentine was substituted for Zhuang Hai Xu. DESTROY's Silverio Gonsalve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Kruuse in the 65th minute of play. In the 69th minute Bo Kruuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Gonsalve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, DESTROY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Arotza to maneuver through the defense. DESTROY's Jacinto Isauro was substituted for Placido Orlandus. Miguel Arotza hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. DESTROY's Silverio Gonsalve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Kruuse in the 74th minute of play. DESTROY's attentive Guido Šuler managed to snatch the ball when Filippo Maldini made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bo Kruuse in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silverio Gonsalve saved DESTROY from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Rickard Lundgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kingpins's goalkeeper Brendan Leblanc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. DESTROY's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
