After having played for 4 minutes, Kraig Fred managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes de América's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kraig Fred was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 5 minutes into the game, Gilberto Illart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Temperley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes de América the free kick. The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when Temperley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Illart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edelmiro Fe made in the 9th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Godfredo Sugoi however managed to control. In the 11th minute, Orlando Silvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes in the game, Kraig Fred dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when Temperley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Tonete didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jakob Heinicke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kraig Fred in the 20th minute. Kraig Fred might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jakob Heinicke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kraig Fred ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kraig Fred got free with Jakob Heinicke in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jakob Heinicke made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Kraig Fred sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the match, Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Kraig Fred came free, but Jakob Heinicke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Estudiantes de América getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Maximo Dei hit a great ball. After 37 minutes Temperley's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maximo Dei who took care of the corner kick. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Illart in the 40th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Temperley's zone, Maximo Dei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jakob Heinicke came out of the goal and Maximo Dei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Cornelio Ruisko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Illart made a kick off. If Cornelio Ruisko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Kraig Fred put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jakob Heinicke. If Kraig Fred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kraig Fred in the 58th minute of play forced Temperley's goalkeeper Jakob Heinicke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Temperley getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Edelmiro Fe hit a great ball. Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti was substituted for Kraig Fred. Temperley's Romeo Matthew was substituted for Gilberto Illart. Estudiantes de América's Orlando Beltza was substituted for Flavio Iraunkor. Edelmiro Fe kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Temperley defense, Orlando Beltza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jakob Heinicke. The Temperley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jakob Heinicke should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Blăniță in the 68th minute of play forced Temperley's goalkeeper Jakob Heinicke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Temperley's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maximo Dei was slow to take the kick. During this time Estudiantes de América's players had a chance to rest. Korneliusz Miodek made a great header on Estudiantes de América's corner, it was just that Temperley's Jakob Heinicke managed to reach the ball for a save. Jakob Heinicke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Blăniță, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Jakob Heinicke came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes de América's Orlando Beltza. But to his dismay, Orlando Beltza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 81 minutes of play, Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jakob Heinicke was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the game, Candido Tonete was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Temperley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes de América the free kick. In the 87th match minute, Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Tonete to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Beltza in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jakob Heinicke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Temperley's Jakob Heinicke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Trasatti in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Trasatti came free, but Jakob Heinicke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Temperley's Jakob Heinicke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Beltza in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Trasatti in the 96th minute of play forced Temperley's goalkeeper Jakob Heinicke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakob Heinicke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Traian Blăniță in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Estudiantes de América players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
