Gordon Zamora had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Zacarias Rik's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Yala's Zacarias Rik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gordon Zamora made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's Gordon Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurids Grejsen in the 10th minute of play. Zeledon Curcio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmiro Fernandez in the 13th minute. Delmiro Fernandezs short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Zeledon Curcio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 20 minutes into the match, Maximino Arnau dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zeledon Curcio, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Ritchie during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Yala getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Armando Ritchie hit a great ball. Maximino Arnau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Curcio having to make a save. Gordon Zamora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Söderberg in the 26th minute of the match. Zeledon Curcio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximino Arnau in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's goal looked a bit too open when Laurids Grejsen came free, but Gordon Zamora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Generoso Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Ismael Licerio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zeledon Curcio. That made the score 2-1 in the 35 minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Maximino Arnau notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Yala's Zeledon Curcio. Zeledon Curcio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yala's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Maximino Arnau 47 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 57th minute Edwin Söderberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Delmiro Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Delmiro Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximino Arnau in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Curcio saved Yala from getting behind. After 83 played minutes MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Fernandez. Zeledon Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cazimir Stroe in the 87th minute of play. Raimundo Frans hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, Edwin Söderberg notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's Gordon Zamora. Gordon Zamora was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN had won after a very even match.
