In the 5th match minute, Yala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Bizen to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Gogo Chabier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 11th minute Carolo Bizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but León Carbonell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Curcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor Badal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. León Carbonell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Chabier in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute Yala were awarded a corner. Alberto Jaunti went to the cornerflag to take it. Alberto Jaunti made a great header on Yala's corner, it was just that Choros FC's León Carbonell managed to reach the ball for a save. When Carolo Bizen fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yala's protests and gave Carolo Bizen a yellow card for diving instead. Yala's Gogo Chabier got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22ndth minute of the game Freddy Valentine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Choros FC's León Carbonell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Choros FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Tor Badal hit a great ball. Abuzer Gündoğan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. León Carbonell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Valentine in the 32nd minute of the match. León Carbonell came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Yala's Carolo Bizen. But to his dismay, Carolo Bizen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. León Carbonell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Chabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. León Carbonell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Bizen in the 37th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Choros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Valentine came free, but León Carbonell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Freddy Valentine cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. León Carbonell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. León Carbonell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Valentine in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Freddy Valentine made the kick off in the second half. If Gogo Chabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 53 minutes into the match, Gogo Chabier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of León Carbonell. Choros FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gogo Chabier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. León Carbonell made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Gogo Chabier sent off a good shot on target. Choros FC's León Carbonell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Choros FC from getting a goal against them. León Carbonell was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Freddy Valentine capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Freddy Valentine really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Gogo Chabier got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Carolo Bizen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. León Carbonell came out and tried to block the shot, but Carolo Bizen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 65th minute. León Carbonell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Valentine in the 69th minute of play. León Carbonell acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Freddy Claude. In the 72nd minute, Tor Badal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Choros FC's goalkeeper León Carbonell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddy Valentine. Freddy Valentine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but León Carbonell made a huge save. With a little luck, Choros FC's León Carbonell got control of the ball when Freddy Valentine tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute of the match Yala got a corner. Choros FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alberto Jaunti ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Alberto Jaunti got away a dangerous shot. Despite this León Carbonell quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 82nd match minute, Choros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Cortazar to maneuver through the defense. León Carbonell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Chabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Gogo Chabier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of León Carbonell when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 91 played minutes Choros FC got a freekick which was hit by Ariano Pasten. 94 minutes into the match, Choros FC's goalkeeper León Carbonell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddy Valentine. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Choros FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alberto Jaunti was slow to take the kick. During this time Yala's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Carolo Bizen to score against León Carbonell in Choros FC's goal. 0-8 after 96 minutes. Yala's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
