The audience thought a goal was coming when Tord Söderqvist got free with Zeledon Curcio in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yala's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Acácio de Andrade was slow to take the kick. During this time S.C. Ferrari's players had a chance to rest. Váldson Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Zeledon Curcio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tord Söderqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Acácio de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Curcio having to interfere. Tord Söderqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Curcio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tord Söderqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the match, Yala's goalkeeper Zeledon Curcio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tord Söderqvist. Freddy Claude charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddy Claude the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of S.C. Ferrari booed when Yala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Claude didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tord Söderqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Tord Söderqvist took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Zeledon Curcio to make any attempt to save it. In the 42nd minute S.C. Ferrari were awarded a corner. Acácio de Andrade went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Patrick Angelsø got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zeledon Curcio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tord Söderqvist struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Zeledon Curcio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C. Ferrari.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Tord Söderqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yala's Zeledon Curcio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. S.C. Ferrari's Lu Bing Yin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Freddy Claude in the 55 minute of the game. Tord Söderqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Curcio having to make a save. 57 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Söderqvist came free, but Zeledon Curcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes of play, S.C. Ferrari's Tord Söderqvist made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Curcio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zeledon Curcio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gergely Bollobás went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. S.C. Ferrari made a substitution. Carlos Duarte replaced Patrick Angelsø. 78 minutes into the match, Gergely Bollobás had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Curcio. Yala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gergely Bollobás was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. S.C. Ferrari made a substitution. Jerônimo de Alcântara replaced Victor Otsando. Zeledon Curcio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gergely Bollobás went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to S.C. Ferrari getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Váldson Arruda hit a great ball. Zeledon Curcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gergely Bollobás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. S.C. Ferrari fully deserved thier win.
