Karl-Axel Jansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gergely Bollobás in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute of the match S.C. Ferrari got a corner. C.A.Independiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Acácio de Andrade ran over to the corner to take the kick. S.C. Ferrari's Acácio de Andrade was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Karl-Axel Jansson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Karl-Axel Jansson was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Gergely Bollobás capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gergely Bollobás really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 24th minute, S.C. Ferrari's Gergely Bollobás ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Karl-Axel Jansson. Karl-Axel Jansson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Gergely Bollobás might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Axel Jansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gergely Bollobás ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernardo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Sidro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes S.C. Ferrari's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabian Ipar who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Sidro in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38thth minute of the game Adolfo Sidro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C. Ferrari's Bernardo Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When C.A.Independiente's Fidel Lertxun in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.C. Ferrari's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gergely Bollobás in the 47th minute of play forced C.A.Independiente's goalkeeper Karl-Axel Jansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A.Independiente's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Acácio de Andrade was slow to take the kick. During this time S.C. Ferrari's players had a chance to rest. Acácio de Andrade made a great header on S.C. Ferrari's corner, it was just that C.A.Independiente's Karl-Axel Jansson managed to reach the ball for a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

S.C. Ferrari were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after C.A.Independiente's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Acácio de Andrade took the corner. 56 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Gergely Bollobás came free, but Karl-Axel Jansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Axel Jansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gergely Bollobás, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Gergely Bollobás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When S.C. Ferrari's Gergely Bollobás in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 62ndth minute of the game Gergely Bollobás who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.Independiente's Karl-Axel Jansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gergely Bollobás's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Axel Jansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, S.C. Ferrari's Gergely Bollobás nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Axel Jansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. S.C. Ferrari's Patrick Angelsø was substituted for Carlos Duarte. 70 minutes into the match, S.C. Ferrari's Gergely Bollobás sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Axel Jansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 72 minutes into the game, Gergely Bollobás cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Karl-Axel Jansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 81st minute Gergely Bollobás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Axel Jansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Gergely Bollobás notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of C.A.Independiente's Karl-Axel Jansson. Karl-Axel Jansson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alpheios Arvanitoyannis kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. C.A.Independiente made a substitution. Aldo Tohias replaced Carlitos Prezioso. After a rather tough play, C.A.Independiente's Alpheios Arvanitoyannis got a free kick in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the game, Acácio de Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Karl-Axel Jansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 96 minutes into the match, S.C. Ferrari's Acácio de Andrade broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The S.C. Ferrari fans cheered their team off the field, for while C.A.Independiente had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
