FC Alinborger's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 42 minutes into the match, FC Alinborger's goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ghiţă Popescu. After some careless play in the FC Alinborger defense, Abelardo Bezerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tadeu Moraes. The FC Alinborger fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeu Moraes should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 61stth minute of the game Abelardo Bezerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
