Luis Maestro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Simionescu in the 3rd minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Tiberiu Pitiș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C.BARLAD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Llull de Reus the free kick. The supporters of Real Llull de Reus booed when F.C.BARLAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Pitiș didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, one of F.C.BARLAD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F.C.BARLAD. F.C.BARLAD:s Bogdan Gurgui showed great skill when he stopped Cefero Gala:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Rico in the 20th minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Bogdan Gurgui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Octav Ţintea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Che Valdivia put in a rough tackle. In the 28th match minute, Real Llull de Reus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Che Valdivia to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Plopșor took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Maestro. Luis Maestro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 44 played minutes Real Llull de Reus got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Valverde. In the 45th minute, Valentin Plopșor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C.BARLAD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lancelot Astudillo to make the kick off. Bogdan Gurgui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lancelot Astudillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. F.C.BARLAD's Bogdan Gurgui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cefero Gala in the 62nd minute of play. Ferdinand Simionescu kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, F.C.BARLAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Simionescu to maneuver through the defense. Luis Maestro made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Octav Ţintea sent off a good shot on target. Raul Antón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nestor Rico during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nestor Rico hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Real Llull de Reus's Luis Maestro got control of the ball when Valentin Plopșor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nestor Rico kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Bogdan Gurgui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Rico, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Raul Antón ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bogdan Gurgui was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 87th minute Octav Ţintea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Maestro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the F.C.BARLAD defense, Cefero Gala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bogdan Gurgui. The F.C.BARLAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bogdan Gurgui should have stopped the shot.

When the match was over F.C.BARLAD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real Llull de Reus throughout the match.
