Supremacy Catania FC's Dennis Baggio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gilson Cordeiro, made in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 4th minute Raimundo Espírito Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pancracio Paniagua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pancracio Paniagua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bai Kun De made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Pabla in the 21st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as POPULAR F.C's Victorio Pabla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bai Kun De. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. 26 minutes into the match, Raimundo Espírito Santo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of POPULAR F.C's Pancracio Paniagua. Pancracio Paniagua was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Victorio Pabla sped through Supremacy Catania FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bai Kun De. Pancracio Paniagua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Zachariasz Rasimowicz's late challenge caught a POPULAR F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zachariasz Rasimowicz helped the player get up and apologised. Zachariasz Rasimowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Fabian Emesto with Raimundo Espírito Santo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorio Pabla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Fabian Emesto in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by POPULAR F.C's Maicon de Godoi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filippo Bozzelli got free with Pancracio Paniagua in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pancracio Paniagua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 57th minute of play. Supremacy Catania FC's Rachid Baba Ali Factor was substituted for Carter Barillari. Supremacy Catania FC's Cesare Maestri was substituted for Franco Lizzi. Fabian Emesto got a throw-in 60 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jean Pereira. Victorio Pabla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Supremacy Catania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Pabla came free, but Bai Kun De reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rachid Baba Ali Factor was slow to take the kick. During this time Supremacy Catania FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Rachid Baba Ali Factor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but POPULAR F.C's Pancracio Paniagua did a great save. Thanks to some nice moves Dennis Baggio could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Pancracio Paniagua however easily saved by the left post. In the 92nd minute Supremacy Catania FC were awarded a corner. Rachid Baba Ali Factor went to the cornerflag to take it.
