Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leonardo Soter kicked off to start the match. With 4 minutes on the clock, Lin Yang commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Valencia C.F.'s Lin Yang got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Rodrigo Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Javi Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Soter scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andoni Zubizarreta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Etxekopar in the 15th minute of play forced Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andoni Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Caneças in the 18th minute of play. Nana Lider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Brito in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Moreno came free, but Nana Lider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nana Lider having to interfere. Andoni Zubizarreta came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Los Andes's Leonardo Soter. But to his dismay, Leonardo Soter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Leonardo Soter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Rodrigo Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valencia C.F.'s Andoni Zubizarreta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Valencia C.F. from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

53 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Nana Lider had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Moreno. Andoni Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Caneças in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Valencia C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Brito to maneuver through the defense. Andoni Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Soter in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Leonardo Soter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Los Andes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 72 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Caneças came free, but Andoni Zubizarreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Leonel Farias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inocencio Etxekopar took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andoni Zubizarreta. Andoni Zubizarreta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Valencia C.F.'s Lennie Wedlock managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonel Farias in the 84 minute of the game. 91 minutes into the game, Inocencio Etxekopar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Los Andes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valencia C.F. the free kick. After 91 played minutes Club Atletico Los Andes got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Etxekopar. Valencia C.F.'s Andoni Zubizarreta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Nunes in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 minutes of play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Carlos Caneças made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andoni Zubizarreta was left in no man's land by his defense there!

There was no doubt that Club Atletico Los Andes were the better team. Club Atletico Los Andes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
