The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th match minute, TaTeRo Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gong Bo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zsolt Zolnai in the 10th minute of play forced TaTeRo Boys's goalkeeper Michel Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind TaTeRo Boys's goalkeeper Michel Neuer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nagyváradi AC's attentive Hong Xing Yang managed to snatch the ball when Richard Chotard made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. In the 19th minute Jedrzej Kasprzak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Neuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, TaTeRo Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Jedrzej Kasprzak came free, but Michel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both sets of players were looking tired when the whistle went to end the half. Everyone was pleased to get a few minutes to rest before extra-time resumed.

Endrik Halland's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Jos Van Hinnendael on his right side and into the goal. 137 minutes into the game it was 2-2. TaTeRo Boys:s Jos Van Hinnendael showed great skill when he stopped Ákos Szél:s penalty. Masao Tachibana's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Jos Van Hinnendael - 3-3 was put on the score board in the 143rd minute. TaTeRo Boys's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
