The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrico Parco was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Alfonso Granati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cordera Nunez might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enzo Bearzot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cordera Nunez ran back to his position shaking his head. 52 minutes into the match, Frutta e Verdura AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cordera Nunez came free, but Enzo Bearzot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
