Quico Leyva's late challenge caught a Enex's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quico Leyva helped the player get up and apologised. Quico Leyva kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Marko Hökkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geofredo Fox. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marko Hökkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Varban Gugovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Alwege in the 16th minute of play. Enex were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after North Port UTD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yoncho Prelkov took the corner. Enex's Varban Gugovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Alwege in the 22nd minute of play. North Port UTD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
