In the 5th minute, Mehmet Emrah Dolunay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Žydrūnas Pauža managed to get in a good position for a shot. MarineerS FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Žydrūnas Pauža was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teun Verbraecken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Barra Funda F.C getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Rogério Cunha hit a great ball. Teun Verbraecken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Žydrūnas Pauža's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Barra Funda F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Mecnun Seha came free, but Teun Verbraecken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, MarineerS FK's Mecnun Seha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Teun Verbraecken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Žydrūnas Pauža's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Inácio Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teun Verbraecken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mecnun Seha in the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of MarineerS FK booed when Barra Funda F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabinho Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Mecnun Seha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmílson Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Tayfun Tanfer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MarineerS FK's Ján Novák was substituted for Derviş Akçınar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ján Novák made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Tayfun Tanfer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inácio Domingues. Tayfun Tanfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Cunha in the 56th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inácio Domingues got free with Tayfun Tanfer in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute Žydrūnas Pauža shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teun Verbraecken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tayfun Tanfer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Mineiro in the 64th minute of play. In the 71stth minute of the game Carl Rundell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barra Funda F.C's Teun Verbraecken was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Barra Funda F.C's Armandinho Vieira got a free kick in the 75th minute. Teun Verbraecken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ján Novák in the 77th minute of the match. MarineerS FK made a substitution. Davide Tonon replaced Žydrūnas Pauža. After 80 minutes Barra Funda F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was John Antolin who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in John Antolin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barra Funda F.C's Teun Verbraecken did a great save. In the 81st minute Davide Tonon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teun Verbraecken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Davide Tonon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barra Funda F.C's Teun Verbraecken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Tonon in the 85th minute of play. Inácio Domingues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Tayfun Tanfer made a huge save. Teun Verbraecken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ján Novák, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teun Verbraecken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ján Novák's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. If Davide Tonon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teun Verbraecken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ján Novák, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 98 played minutes Barra Funda F.C got a freekick which was hit by Samuca Azevedo. MarineerS FK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
