In the 11th minute, Martyn Christensen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dominik Trela was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 18th minute, Okradzinów's Zenon Rydz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Okradzinów's Zenon Rydz got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucjan Sobania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Berwick Upon Tweed defense, Lucjan Sobania kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johnny Slater. The Berwick Upon Tweed fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johnny Slater should have stopped the shot. Dominik Trela came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Berwick Upon Tweed's Martyn Christensen. But to his dismay, Martyn Christensen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Dominik Trela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Paul Houghton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Okradzinów's goal looked a bit too open when Martyn Christensen came free, but Dominik Trela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keiran Foster's late challenge caught a Okradzinów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Keiran Foster helped the player get up and apologised. Keiran Foster hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rio Forster was the one to do the kick off. Dominik Trela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martyn Christensen in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Rio Forster cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Dominik Trela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zenon Rydz charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zenon Rydz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Okradzinów's Zenon Rydz got a free kick in the 61st minute. Marcin Czarnecki hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Dominik Trela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rio Forster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, Ken Waite was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Berwick Upon Tweed's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Okradzinów the free kick. Ken Waite kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Johnny Slater made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Sobania in the 71st minute of play. Dominik Trela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rio Forster, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Marcin Czarnecki hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute of the match Kurt Farmer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dominik Trela showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dominik Trela was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rio Forster showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 77 minute of play. Dominik Trela made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when John Paul Houghton sent off a good shot on target. Dominik Trela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rio Forster in the 83rd minute of the match. After having played for 84 minutes, John Paul Houghton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berwick Upon Tweed's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Paul Houghton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dominik Trela came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Berwick Upon Tweed's John Paul Houghton. But to his dismay, John Paul Houghton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ken Waite in the 94th minute of play forced Okradzinów's goalkeeper Dominik Trela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Berwick Upon Tweed's Dominik Trela threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ken Waite, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match was over Berwick Upon Tweed could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Okradzinów throughout the match.
