Amado Berenguer started the match with the kick off. Guido Lorencio hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Amado Berenguer fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mauricio Erauso, passed just outside the right post. Mauricio Erauso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amado Berenguer's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After 12 played minutes, Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Enrique Pasqual shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustavo-Hernán Armani came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atletico Rio Tercero reached it. 14 minutes into the match, MORPH's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Corderun came free, but Gustavo-Hernán Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Santos Olayo in the 15th minute. In the 18th match minute, Club Atletico Rio Tercero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Aragones to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, MORPH's Leonel Messias got a free kick in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the game, Gerardo Ler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MORPH the free kick. After 23 played minutes Club Atletico Rio Tercero got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Ler. In the 25th match minute, Club Atletico Rio Tercero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Aragones to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Fernan Aragones got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the last second Mauricio Erauso throw himself and got hold of the ball when Amado Berenguer in the 30thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Amado Berenguer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With a little luck, MORPH's Gustavo-Hernán Armani got control of the ball when Gerardo Ler tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Club Atletico Rio Tercero getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gaudencio Romano hit a great ball. MORPH made a substitution. Feliciano Telo replaced Teo Playo. The supporters of MORPH booed when Club Atletico Rio Tercero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Romano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amado Berenguer struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Mauricio Erauso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MORPH. In the 62nd match minute, Club Atletico Rio Tercero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Romano to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the game, Amado Berenguer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mauricio Erauso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Club Atletico Rio Tercero:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MORPH:s goal. The referee gave MORPH a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Amado Berenguer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Mauricio Erauso. 2-0. Tord Eliasson hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Romano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MORPH the free kick. After 83 played minutes Club Atletico Rio Tercero got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Romano. Amado Berenguer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Erauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Berenguer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because MORPH had won, even though Club Atletico Rio Tercero had held more of the ball.
