Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) U21 Romania's Robert Tudor started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Robert Tudor took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timmy Wikander. Timmy Wikander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 6th minute Dan Braru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timmy Wikander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timmy Wikander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Tudor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fredrik Höijer fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dynamo Strandnäs's protests and gave Fredrik Höijer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Fredrik Höijer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timmy Wikander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Braru in the 11th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Dynamo Strandnäs's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Tudor came free, but Timmy Wikander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dynamo Strandnäs's Fritz Jakobsson got a free kick in the 20th minute. Petre Petrean was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fritz Jakobsson's late challenge caught a U21 Romania's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fritz Jakobsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, Fritz Jakobsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan Braru succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. 27 minutes into the match, Dynamo Strandnäs's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Mailat came free, but Timmy Wikander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rikard Bohlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timmy Wikander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Tudor in the 48th minute of the match. The Dynamo Strandnäs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. U21 Romania were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rikard Bohlin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernt Jernberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute of the match, Sebastian Mailat got a very nice opportunity to score, but Timmy Wikander was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Timmy Wikander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Romania. In the 59th minute of the match, Dan Braru tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Timmy Wikander saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 59 minutes, Dan Braru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Romania's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Braru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robert Tudor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Timmy Wikander made a huge save. Robert Tudor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Timmy Wikander made a huge save. Markus Fagerberg charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Markus Fagerberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Markus Fagerberg hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Dynamo Strandnäs's Timmy Wikander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Braru in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Robert Tudor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timmy Wikander. Dynamo Strandnäs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Tudor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. In the 95th minute, Dan Braru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute Robert Tudor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timmy Wikander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. U21 Romania played a much better game than Dynamo Strandnäs and deserved their victory. The Dynamo Strandnäs players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
