CAN ERZURUM's Mehmet Şefik Karadağ managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Yao Ting Fan in the 9 minute of the game. In the 11th minute Veysel Koçarslan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Scheie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sven-Olof Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Máximo Portero saved Cisco Birlik FC from getting behind. Pan Wei Quan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máximo Portero having to interfere. Joar Scheie made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Mirza Togan sent off a good shot on target. Joar Scheie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mirza Togan in the 24th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Süleyman Tunçhan in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CAN ERZURUM's Baba Popescu. 33 minutes into the match, Cisco Birlik FC's Yao Ting Fan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joar Scheie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joar Scheie made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Mansur İzzet sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mirza Togan got free with Joar Scheie in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 37 minutes CAN ERZURUM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gruyo Kochunski who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Cisco Birlik FC booed when CAN ERZURUM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Su Jing Cheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mirza Togan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Joar Scheie made a huge save. After 41 played minutes CAN ERZURUM got a freekick which was hit by Aybars Demirci. CAN ERZURUM's Rolando Betadur quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jelmer Pander, made in the 44th minute of the game. The supporters of Cisco Birlik FC booed when CAN ERZURUM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Şefik Karadağ didn't get a good kick on the ball. CAN ERZURUM made a substitution. Arda Turan replaced Mehmet Poyraz. In the 48th minute, Mehmet Şefik Karadağ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 53rd match minute, CAN ERZURUM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pan Wei Quan to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Veysel Koçarslan in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joar Scheie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yao Ting Fan hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 57th match minute, Cisco Birlik FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marty Ødegaard to maneuver through the defense. Veysel Koçarslan took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joar Scheie. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Sven-Olof Vestlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAN ERZURUM's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Olof Vestlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Máximo Portero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the game, Cisco Birlik FC's Ali Baran Sağbilge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joar Scheie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Charles Puyol hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cisco Birlik FC had won after a very even match.
