Geert Arend Weken got a throw-in 3 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fokke Meertens. Claudiu Răducanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tim Krul came out and tried to block the shot, but Claudiu Răducanu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Dacian Zburliş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Claudiu Răducanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tim Krul made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudiu Răducanu in the 13th minute. Geert Arend Weken's late challenge caught a MARAZZINO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geert Arend Weken helped the player get up and apologised. Tim Krul was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudiu Răducanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudiu Răducanu got free with Tim Krul in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MARAZZINO were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Heihoek's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Claudiu Răducanu took the corner. The corner led MARAZZINO's Claudiu Răducanu to fire away a dangerous shot which Tim Krul despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, MARAZZINO's Claudiu Răducanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tim Krul narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute MARAZZINO were awarded a corner. Claudiu Răducanu went to the cornerflag to take it. With his leg Tim Krul managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when MARAZZINO's Claudiu Răducanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tim Krul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Răducanu in the 40th minute of play. Geert Arend Weken made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Floris Akkerboom. When Tommie Wielaert came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Heihoek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommie Wielaert couldn't finish the play. Heihoek's Geert Arend Weken got his second yellow card of the match in the 46th minute. The referee ordered Geert Arend Weken off the ground.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fokke Meertens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match MARAZZINO got a corner. Heihoek's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claudiu Răducanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Claudiu Răducanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 60th minute, Claudiu Răducanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MARAZZINO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. A sloppy throw-in by Hans de Jong in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MARAZZINO's Necdet Tibet. Tim Krul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Zburliş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Claudiu Răducanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tim Krul was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. 72 minutes into the game, Dacian Zburliş cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Tim Krul was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 78 minutes into the game, Dacian Zburliş cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. But to his dismay, Dacian Zburliş quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Zburliş in the 87th minute of play forced Heihoek's goalkeeper Tim Krul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Claudiu Răducanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tim Krul. Heihoek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudiu Răducanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Tim Krul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Zburliş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MARAZZINO walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
