Eric Soned tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Soned showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Vestlund in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Per-Arne Gunnarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Soned took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hubert Kvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Vestlund came free, but Eric Soned reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Vestlund in the 20th minute of play forced Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goalkeeper Eric Soned to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Soned made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Charles Vestlund sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of BK Falcon booed when Étoile Sportive Du Sahel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henning Ekström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Charles Vestlund scored to the left of an out of position Eric Soned, making the score, 2-0. Fredric Malm made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Morgan Möllgren. Charles Vestlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Soned. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charles Vestlund ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Eric Soned got control of the ball when Charles Vestlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomasz Jakubowski charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomasz Jakubowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. BK Falcon's Richard Finman was substituted for Birger Rolfsson. After 39 played minutes Étoile Sportive Du Sahel got a freekick which was hit by Tomasz Jakubowski. After a rather tough play, BK Falcon's Fredric Malm got a free kick in the 40th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Nickolai Nickerson made the kick off in the second half. Charles Vestlund scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eric Soned, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Radu Fetea hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Charles Vestlund took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Soned. Eric Soned dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. A sloppy throw-in by Henning Ekström in the 69th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by BK Falcon's Fredric Malm. Yassine Bounou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Morgan Möllgren in the 73rd minute. In the 74th match minute, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nickolai Nickerson to maneuver through the defense. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Juninho Pernambucano was substituted for Valentin Elg. Yassine Bounou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juninho Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yassine Bounou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Njurenius in the 89th minute of play. When Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Juninho Pernambucano in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BK Falcon's goalie prevented a goal.
