Martin Tudor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcu Iovan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Martin Tudor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ciro Cortez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Martin Tudor made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s Radu Geangu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Helmuth Duckadam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zachary Snaza in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Tudor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciro Cortez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Augustin Petruț's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Helmuth Duckadam was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zachary Snaza made a kick off. The supporters of FC Psihopel BM-MM- booed when FC Ruscova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Iovan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
