Gustaw Ptaszek kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Ciro Cortez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Emilio Shepherd made a huge save. Emilio Shepherd stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gavril Sichitiu's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wessel Bos in the 17th minute of play forced FC Ruscova's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wessel Bos in the 23rd minute of the match. KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save KN ZGORZELEC from getting a goal against them. Wessel Bos might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Helmuth Duckadam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wessel Bos ran back to his position shaking his head. Gilbert Gotfryd hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, FC Ruscova's goal looked a bit too open when Wessel Bos came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th match minute, KN ZGORZELEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis María Ogazón to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zachary Snaza made a kick off. Emilio Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachary Snaza in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Gustav Kvick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Cortez in the 61st minute of play forced KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emilio Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wessel Bos in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helmuth Duckadam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute, Pablo Mark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Ruscova getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Pablo Mark hit a great ball. Emilio Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Cortez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavril Sichitiu in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by KN ZGORZELEC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emilian Marina was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Ruscova's players had a chance to rest. Helmuth Duckadam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Karaszkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute of the match KN ZGORZELEC got a corner. FC Ruscova's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariusz Kaleta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mariusz Kaleta made a great header on KN ZGORZELEC's corner, it was just that FC Ruscova's Helmuth Duckadam managed to reach the ball for a save. A nice corner shot did that Emilian Marina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emilio Shepherd quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Emilio Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Mark in the 86th minute of play. Ciro Cortez took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Shepherd. Emilio Shepherd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.
