Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Herbert Grom made the kick off and thus started the match. Kajetan Dec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Pisarcik in the 4th minute of the match. Poland's Feliks Wojton got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kajetan Dec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lech Pisarcik in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Poland's Herbert Grom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kajetan Dec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Lech Pisarcik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Kajetan Dec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Grom came free, but Kajetan Dec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herbert Grom in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kajetan Dec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Kajetan Dec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Grom in the 25th minute of play. Kajetan Dec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Grom in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th minute Herbert Grom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Dec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kajetan Dec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Pisarcik in the 30th minute of the match. Zawisza Bydgoszcz were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Poland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sixten Gernberg took the corner. The corner led to Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Orestas Ancikas getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Poland booed when Zawisza Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orestas Ancikas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herbert Grom took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kajetan Dec. Kajetan Dec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Kajetan Dec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pier Kopacz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Zawisza Bydgoszcz players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Poland were winning 0-2.

Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Kazimierz Gaszynski was substituted for Sixten Gernberg. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ömer Halisdemir made a kick off. With his leg Kajetan Dec managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Poland's Herbert Grom fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Halisdemir in the 55th minute of play. Lech Pisarcik might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kajetan Dec. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lech Pisarcik ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the match, Poland's Feliks Wojton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kajetan Dec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Herbert Grom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Kajetan Dec made a huge save. In the 68th minute Poland were awarded a corner. Lech Pisarcik went to the cornerflag to take it. Poland's Korneliusz Trochowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kajetan Dec in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 74th minute Sebastian Klawke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kajetan Dec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marek Czech in the 76th minute. Marek Czech kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 76thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Zawisza Bydgoszcz's keeper Kajetan Dec was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The crowd rose to their feet as Marek Czech kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kajetan Dec. That made the score 0-3 in the 79 minute of play. If Marek Czech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Klawke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd match minute, Zawisza Bydgoszcz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonello Salomone to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Răzvan Brădean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Brădean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Boruc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Zawisza Bydgoszcz supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Poland's performance. The match ended with a win for Poland.
